Felipe Araya is a drummer and percussionist. His work moves between drum set, Peruvian cajón, and different sound objects, focusing on the relation between sound, material and space. He has played in free improvisation groups and in the performance of composed pieces, in experimental and stage contexts in America and Europe. Since 2023, he lives in Berlin, where he continues his sound research. In recent years, he started the project Cajón Material, which explores cajones made from different materials. The first in this series is a custom metal cajón, created as a sound and instrumental object, aiming to expand the sound and performative possibilities of the traditional Peruvian cajón through new collaborations.

Axel Filip is a drummer, composer, arranger, and improviser from Argentina, currently based in Berlin. His artistic goal is to continuously engage with sound in a way that allows for transparent and sincere expression. He reflects his versatility as a performer within jazz and creative music by collaborating on diverse musical projects, ranging from duo to big band settings, as well as creating solo performances. As a composer, Axel explores the intersections of jazz, improvisation, poetry, and folk music, crafting soundscapes that evoke complex yet deeply visceral emotions.
